Where do I even begin?! This place saved my life. I suffer from chronic migraines, and get migraine headaches 3-5 times per week. I was taking NSAIDs and other pain relievers like candy for years, which finally caught up with me. I ultimately landed in the hospital with ulcerative colitis that could have killed me. I knew I needed to stop taking pills, and try something new.
I had never been to a chiropractor before in my life, so I was very nervous about my first visit. (20+ years of watching 20/20 horror stories tend to keep you away from trying new things.) I stumbled upon Irvine Spine and Sport via Google/yelp. When I saw how highly rated this chiropractic office was, I didn’t really want to go anywhere else. So, I drove from Long Beach to Irvine to see Dr. Twombly.
He sat with me for an hour and half, and explained all sorts of information to me. He made me feel comfortable, relaxed, and excited to start treatment. He did a few adjustments, and I immediately felt relief. I felt taller, my neck felt longer, and the headache I walked in with subsided. I was then led into another room to start massage therapy which really helped relieve a lot of the pressure and tension in my neck and shoulders. After one session, I couldn’t wait to come back.
I decided to come back three days later. I had the same pleasant experience again. By the time one week had passed since my first visit, I had not had a single migraine. For me, that’s a miracle.
I cannot recommend this office enough. I have never been to a medical practice where I actually felt like a member of the family, and not just another co-pay paying patient, until now. They’re not just doctors–they’re HEALERS.
